Mauritius is embracing a new era of urban living, with smart cities leading the way in sustainability, innovation, and quality of life.

New residential and commercial spaces are being built, roads are being modernised, and eco-friendly solutions are being integrated into everyday life. With strong community engagement and a focus on preserving natural spaces, these developments are reshaping the island’s future.

What’s next for 2025? Our partners share their insights…

Azuri Smart City

"Our first residential projects have already been completed, marking a key milestone in the development of Azuri Smart City. Notable advancements include a new entrance that improves accessibility and connectivity. Looking ahead to 2025, we plan to launch new residential and commercial projects, meeting the increasing demand for quality housing and business spaces.

Additional infrastructure, including a public park and green spaces, will further enhance the area, fostering a sustainable and vibrant environment while driving economic growth and improving the overall quality of life for residents."

Savannah Connected Countryside

"The Savannah Smart Village is in its initial development phase, focusing on essential infrastructure and services. On the commercial front, Ateliers de Gros Bois is expanding with new facilities (including veterinary, hairdressing, and beauty services), while Savannah International School is undergoing an extension. Additionally, L’Orée, an 11-acre agripark, is being developed. A sports centre is also set to open in 2026.

On the residential side, after the success of the first phase of Les Sentiers de Gros Bois, the development continues with the launch of Les Vergers de Gros Bois apartments."

Other key developments include the sale of VEFA properties and land plots, along with the launch of Signature Villas, blending elegance and respect for nature.
