What are the key factors that are currently driving the market?
Real estate in Mauritius is very dynamic. Whilst affordable land is very popular, residential properties such as apartments, houses and offices are relatively more expensive yet offer stable incomes. There is significant growth in demand for pre-built residential property, due to the rising cost of construction.
Which regions are in high demand for property?
Different regions are in high demand at the moment. Feel Free Ltd's main focus is on the west of the island, but we have properties located all over the island, opening up a wide range of investment opportunities.
What would you advise anyone interested in investing in property in Mauritius?
When it comes to investing in property, you need to define your budget and objectives accurately (primary residence, second home, rental investment, etc.). Exploring different regions may also be advisable, as prices can vary considerably. If you require finance, it's crucial to be sure that you are eligible to meet the banks' criteria.
