From selling a luxury villa worth over €2,000,000 in the prestigious Club Med Albion area to building a new home for an underprivileged family in Black River, ÕME Mauritius has achieved something truly inspiring this month.

This marks a significant milestone for the island's first socially responsible real estate agency, which has raised just over Rs 400,000 to kick off this meaningful construction project.

Léa, the founder, along with her dedicated team, is proud and humbled to see this initiative take shape. Driven by a shared passion, they are proving that it's possible to offer high-quality real estate services while contributing to lasting social change. They believe deeply in purpose-led business models and are confident that if more agencies embraced this mindset, the positive impact on our island could be transformative. What they’ve accomplished this month stands as a real example of that potential.

Léa often speaks of a story shared by the Himalayan monk, Om Swami:

“We tend to think that to change the world, we need something grand happening at a massive scale… Whether a mound or a mountain of sand, they are made up of tiny grains. If we took away one grain at a time, there’ll be a moment when nothing will be left.”
