Quite good news for the Mauritian tourist sector ! 6 Mauritian hotels have been prized at the World Luxury Hotel Awards held in Thailand the 1st of November 2013. The prize winners are Shanti Maurice (Luxury Spa Hotel), Sofitel Impérial (Luxury Wedding Destination), Heritage Awali (Luxury Golf Resort) et Heritage Le Telfair (Luxury Beach Resort), Labourdonnais Waterfront (Luxury Hotels), and Long Beach (Luxury Family Hotel). The "Global Winner Award" has been given to Shanti Mauritius.
