Surrounded by the calm of the Black River mountains, on the cusp of the rainforest and within minutes of all amenities – here is a “must-see” proudly brought to you by Mauritius Sotheby’s International Realty.

Finally! A true family home where all can gather and memories will be made. Set in a fabulous garden just perfect for an intimate backyard wedding or alfresco dining amongst the trees, this, very rare find, will speak to those searching for a sizeable family property, with space for everyone and everything, at a very reasonable price! Set on a lush 3,765 M2 Lot, fully fenced with a long private driveway, double lock-up garage attached to the main house and enough rooms to cater for a very large family, multi-family or just for the very creative.

The current layout is 4 en suite bedrooms, plus 4 additional rooms that currently serve as a home office, art room, home gym and… soundproof music studio for you to let loose and properly rock on!

The internal entertainment/living area is large and open, around 100M2, leading to a covered veranda, deck and 75 M2 rim flow, (heated!) slate pool. A fully equipped bar and BBQ “lounge”, poolside gazebo and the most wonderous, mature garden (where you won’t see a single neighbour!) completes the picture. The kitchen is modern and spacious, will handle some serious catering, the ensemble is beautifully maintained and the sheer space gives you endless possibilities.

Let’s walk you through it: Double story build on the ground floor, entrance lobby and guest WC, master suite of just under 60M2, with private terrace, a second en suite also with terrace, open living, dining, snug, kitchen, scullery/ laundry, double garage, large verandah, deck and pool, bar and bbq. Upstairs on the first floor, where most of the rooms open onto one of the large, N or W-facing, uncovered terraces, you have another 2 ensuites and then your 4 additional rooms to convert or use as they are. If you aren’t necessarily musical or crafty, it would be simple enough for example to convert some of the rooms to bedrooms, perhaps a large family bathroom for a 6 bed 5 bath format study/library/home office? However you wish to use it, there are so many exciting options.

Built around 2012, current owners purchased in 2017 and have remodelled entirely since and we ❤ Good to go, just bring your bags!

For internal house size including garage and technical areas, you’re looking at 470 M2 plus another 80 M2 of covered, external areas and 200M2+ of uncovered terraces.

Other features include Solar water heating, a large backup generator, internal and external storage rooms, automated gates with intercom, ethernet cabling present in all 8 rooms, large water storage tanks and a 4000 L tank for irrigation, a large dog kennel.
