Set in a quaint village on the west coast of Mauritius, this newly built home offers a rare combination of contemporary architecture, quality finishes and an enviable lifestyle close to some of the island’s most iconic natural attractions.

The location is particularly appealing to locals and holidaymakers, being within easy reach of the world-renowned kitesurfing waters of Le Morne, the UNESCO-listed Le Morne Cultural Landscape, and the magnificent lagoon stretching along the southwest coast. Here, the relaxed village atmosphere is complemented by easy access to beaches, water sports, restaurants and the vibrant lifestyle for which the west coast is renowned.

Designed with a strong emphasis on space, light and modern architectural lines, the home is distinguished by its impressive large openings. These generous spans have been made possible through carefully engineered construction techniques, allowing the structure to be reinforced without relying on conventional columns. The result is an exceptionally open and fluid living environment, with a strong connection between the interior and exterior spaces.

The interiors have been finished with carefully selected materials, including natural stone tiling, elegant travertine light fixtures and contemporary LED lighting throughout. The overall aesthetic is refined yet welcoming, creating a modern home that feels both stylish and comfortable.

The property offers three generous bedrooms, each benefiting from its own ensuite bathroom. The bathrooms have been thoughtfully designed with designer tiles, elegant brass fittings and quality finishes, adding a touch of understated luxury to the private spaces.

Outside, a beautiful infinity pool provides the perfect focal point for relaxation and entertaining, while the surrounding outdoor areas create a natural extension of the living spaces.

Upstairs, a generous balcony offers a magnificent outlook towards the surrounding mountains, providing an idyllic setting for a morning coffee or an evening drink as the landscape changes with the light.

Above it all, the rooftop terrace is a truly special feature. Offering impressive 360-degree views, it provides a wonderful additional space to entertain, relax or simply take in the exceptional surroundings. From here, the views extend towards the iconic Le Morne Mountain and Le Bénitier, while the lush greenery and natural beauty of the southwest unfold in every direction.

What makes this property particularly distinctive is the level of thought and quality that has gone into its design and construction. It introduces a contemporary architectural standard that is still uncommon within this location, combining generous proportions, refined finishes and exceptional outdoor spaces.

Importantly, the promoter has retained a dedicated finishing budget, allowing the future owner to personalise key elements of the home to their own taste. This includes the kitchen and the landscaping/garden design, providing the opportunity to add a personal signature to an already exceptional property.
