Set directly opposite the beautiful Bain Boeuf Beach on the north coast of Mauritius, this spacious two-bedroom apartment offers an appealing combination of comfortable island living, generous outdoor space and the relaxed atmosphere of an established residential community. With the beach just across the road and the calm, protected waters of the lagoon on your doorstep, this is a home that makes it easy to embrace the outdoor lifestyle for which northern Mauritius is so well known.

The apartment is comfortably designed for both semi-permanent living and extended stays, with two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, one with a bath and the other with a shower. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area creates a welcoming central space, opening onto a generous double terrace. Partly covered and partly open to the sky, the terrace becomes an extension of the living space and features a private plunge pool — an ideal spot for cooling off during the day or enjoying a quiet drink at the end of the afternoon. The apartment is sold furnished and also benefits from one dedicated parking bay.

Cape Bay provides the advantages of a well-managed, pet-friendly residential complex, with tropical landscaped gardens, a long communal swimming pool, gym and 24-hour security. There is a comfortable, welcoming community within the development, making it particularly attractive for a family moving to Mauritius and looking for somewhere that feels established and lived-in rather than simply a holiday resort.

The location is equally compelling. Bain Boeuf has one of the north coast's most attractive views, with clear turquoise water and a sheltered lagoon that is particularly enjoyable for swimming and relaxed days beside the sea. The beach looks towards the iconic Coin de Mire, while Pereybère and Cap Malheureux are close by and Grand Baie is within easy reach for its restaurants, cafés, shopping, international amenities and vibrant coastal lifestyle. For those who enjoy walking, the coastline provides a wonderful setting for an early morning stroll or an evening barefoot along the beach, while around the corner the coastline faces west, offering beautiful opportunities to watch the sunset over the water.

For a Foreign buyer, Cape Bay also offers the opportunity to combine a high-quality Mauritius lifestyle with the potential to qualify for residence through property acquisition. Properties qualifying under the applicable scheme from USD 375,000 may allow an eligible non-citizen purchaser to apply for a Residence Permit, subject to the relevant Mauritian regulations and requirements. This makes the property particularly interesting for those looking not simply for a holiday home, but for a base from which to establish a longer-term life in Mauritius.

With its generous living space, private plunge pool, resort-style facilities, pet-friendly environment and exceptional position directly opposite Bain Boeuf Beach, this Cape Bay apartment offers a rare opportunity to enjoy the north coast of Mauritius from a home that combines practicality with genuine island appeal. Whether you are relocating to Mauritius, looking for a permanent coastal home or seeking a lock-up-and-leave property in one of the island's most sought-after northern locations, this is a property that deserves to be viewed.
